Worked as a prosecutor for 29 years and retired at age 52.  I spend 6 months a year out of state backpacking, canoeing, hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling.  The rest of the time I do volunteer work for the Boy Scouts of America, the Illinois Rifle Association, the North Country Trail Association, the Frankfort Township Republican Party, and the Will County Republican Party.

It hardly feels like 40 years. Don't know if I can make it back, but would sure like to try. My family still lives in the Chicago area, so I do get out there annually pretty much. Have lived in the Phoenix area since 1991 since my spouse retired.  Teaching was my first career (14 years), followed by social work (21 years). Trying to decide on the third. I'm still singing (Tempe Community Chorus) and mourned WAR's death in '06. If you're ever out my way, do look me up. The 5 children are my grown stepchildren; more importantly, I claim 15 grandchildren aged 8-35!
